The public attended Brevard's only memory-themed health fair! A very special day of information, education, fellowship, support and hope. Area organizations and businesses that serve those in our community touched by Alzheimer's disease and dementia were present.

12:00 noon Welcome! Brevard is renowned for its wonderful memory resource and service providers and this event allowed attendees to meet them personally, all in one place.
12:30 pm Special Report - The State of Memory Care in Florida - was presented by Dr. E. Douglas Beach, Secretary, Florida Department of Elder Affairs.
1:30 pm An Overview of Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease - Dr. Kelly Dunn, Geriatric Psychiatrist provided helpful and surprising insights into dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.
2:30 pm Options for Care in Brevard - A carefully selected panel of experts provided information people really need. Information about the real options available in Brevard were discussed. And the panel reviewed -
